Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
The Accelerated BSN program (ABSN) is a full-time program for students interested in becoming a registered nurse (RN). Students with a minimum of 64 pre-requisite courses are eligible for the program.
Located on the campus of UnityPoint Health - St. Luke's hospital in Sioux City, Iowa, the ABSN program provides students the opportunity to explore nursing with real-life patient care experiences in a hospital-based educational setting. Clinical rotations include hospitals, clinics, schools, and community agencies. In addition, students will have access to the College's state-of-the-art Clinical Simulation Center.
The program begins each Spring Semester (January) and is 12 months in length. Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) to become a Registered Nurse.
