As a Medical Laboratory Scientists you will work in all areas of the laboratory including blood banking, chemistry and hematology while performing a variety of scientific, fact-finding tests used in the diagnosis of disease.
The medical laboratory science program at St. Luke's College will provide one year of professional studies committed to classroom and practical instruction. Clinical experience in the laboratory at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center will help you work with accuracy and precision while performing diagnostic tests.
Upon completion of the program you will be eligible to take a national certifying examination to become a Medical Laboratory Scientist. Students may also pursue a baccalaureate degree from their affiliated college or university.
