The following academic criteria are used as a guide to begin the evaluation process.Students may be asked to provide additional information such as references and/or a personal interview.
To be considered for admission to St. Luke's College applicants must meet the minimum criteria by one of the following:
Graduate from an accredited high school with a minimum cumulative grade point average of a 2.50 or earn a General Education Diploma (GED) and, receive a composite score of 19 or above on the American College Test (ACT) or its equivalent on other approved standardized tests.
Graduate from an accredited high school with a minimum cumulative grade point average of a 2.50 or earn a General Education Diploma (GED) and, take college courses and earn a 2.30 cumulative grade point average on transferrable credits. College courses are evaluated on the quantity, quality and relationship to St. Luke's curriculum.
Please note, applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate English proficiency by taking an approved competency test and achieving a satisfactory score.
The following high school courses are recommended for success at St. Luke's College:
Algebra - 4 Semesters
Biology - 2 Semesters
Chemistry - 2 Semesters
English - 8 Semesters
Other recommended courses: Psychology, Computer Science and Keyboarding
